Screening of Brave Story

Synopsis of Movie:

Brave Story revolves around 11 year old Wataru, who is facing the biggest crisis of his life. When his father leaves home and his mother is sent to the hospital for an attempted suicide, a helpless Wataru feels his world come crashing down before him. At this time, however, a rather distant yet mysterious classmate named Mitsuru offers him a way to change his destiny – a gateway into a fantasy kingdom known as “Vision”, where a series of trials will grant him the right to request from a goddess any wish he so desires. With nothing to lose, Wataru jumps at the chance, and thus embarks on a journey with several comrades into a magical land of magic and monsters to complete his quest, find the goddess and “wish” his childhood “right”, but ends up getting more than he had bargained for, as he struggles to battle not just the monsters outside -- but within himself as well.
