Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone at Cathay

Cathay will be screening the new Evangelion movie from 13 March 2008.

The first of the 4 new Evangelion movies (collectively known as Rebuild of Evangelion), this movie will be a retelling of the original TV series and covers the events before the arrival of Asuka.

While most part of the movie reuses scenes from the TV series, there are still a lot of new animations and slight changes to the plot. Die-hard Evangelion Otakus may be disappointed by this "watered down" version, which attempts to simplify the story to cater to general audience.
